Ageless Flow

I bathed in the Nile

as Amun,

when Pharaoh’s dreams soared

with the Great Pyramid of Giza.

In an instant,

I resurfaced in the Ganges

as Brahma,

chanting worlds into being.

On eagle's wings

I flew to Mount Olympus

as Zeus,

where I swayed the fates

of gods and mortals.

Then dove into the Dead Sea

and emerged as Yahweh’s envoy

till crucifixion hurled me

into the waters of the Arabian Sea

and the celestial quintessence

of Ahura Mazda.

The warm light of the Fifth Sun

enveloped me as Quetzalcoatl,

atop the Aztec temples

of Tenochtitlan,

where I spun endless incarnations

before rising again,

a morning star in the East,

from the depths of the Yellow River,

as the Jade Emperor.

A thousand years flowed by

and I plunged into the

pristine waters of Lake Baikal

where since then,

I have communed with nature.
